On 5th December 2022, the government announced that the right to request flexible working would be extended to all employees from day one of employment. There will also be additional changes surrounding flexible working.

Now, although this hasn’t been introduced through legislation as yet (and we’re not entirely sure when this will be), it is important to be aware of the changes that are coming, so that you can plan ahead.

The changes will be introduced through legislation when “parliamentary time allows.” As soon as we have a confirmed date, we will of course let you know.

The change will then mean, that your Flexible Working policy, application form and any other correspondence will need updating. All of which we can help you with!
